Fragile home decor courier delivery should be booked around the protected item and the customer’s receiving arrangement. WTM Logistics can transport merchant-prepared boxed orders such as decorative objects, framed pieces and suitable small furnishings, with the specific requirements described before collection.

The delivery is not automatically furniture installation or unpacking. Agree the required handoff and handling as part of the quote.

Request a fragile-order courier quote with the contents, packaged dimensions and destination.

Prepare the item for movement before release

The seller should protect the product using packaging appropriate to its surfaces, shape and weight. Keep separate pieces from striking one another and secure accessories inside the appropriate package.

FedEx’s fragile-item guidance recommends a sturdy box and cushioning to prevent movement. Use product-specific packing instructions where the manufacturer provides them; a fragile label does not replace physical protection.

Describe whether the packaged item must stay upright and identify any lifting or handling needs. WTM should know those requirements before the vehicle is assigned.

Measure the package, including its protection

A framed item inside a protective package may occupy substantially more space than the product dimensions shown online. Supply the final height, width, length and weight.

List multiple packages separately. A decorative lamp base and shade prepared in two cartons are two pieces even when sold as one product.

For goods needing larger-vehicle handling or additional service, discuss white glove transportation or freight options rather than assume ordinary courier delivery covers the whole task.

Agree the receiving point with the customer

Confirm the recipient’s address, unit, contact number and availability. A building entrance, concierge handoff and inside delivery are different arrangements.

State the agreed handoff point in the request. For stairs, restricted entrances or unusual access, share the details before collection so the service can be assessed.

A merchant can, for example, coordinate a prepared fragile order for delivery when the customer is available to receive it, rather than rely on an unconfirmed leave-at-door instruction.

Keep the sales order and transport record aligned

Use the merchant’s order reference on the shipment. Tell the customer what is arriving and whether any associated items will follow separately.

Through the WTM Customer Portal, request delivery, approve the quote and make payment. Follow available live GPS tracking during the transport and retrieve the POD afterwards.

The receiving handoff and any product-condition concern should be recorded promptly through the relevant business process. A delivery record helps establish the movement but does not substitute for the merchant’s product inspection and customer-service decisions.

Can we arrange regular local deliveries from our store?

Yes. Provide your usual package types, destinations and receiving requirements. Discuss WTM’s 10% recurring-shipment offer for the applicable arrangement.
