The sender should prepare the load in accordance with its own equipment instructions. WTM transports the ready shipment; the driver should not be asked to dismantle it or decide which parts must accompany a repair without a clear prior arrangement.
Choose dedicated speed or shared freight deliberately
Hotshot suits a time-critical direct movement that cannot wait for ordinary shared-load planning. LTL is a different option for suitable pallet freight that can use the agreed scheduled service. The distinction is the transport requirement, not simply whether the load fits on one skid.
Discuss the actual deadline and loading conditions with WTM. A compact crate can justify hotshot, while a larger pallet may not need it if the workshop date is flexible. The quote makes that service choice explicit.
Track the southbound job and plan what follows
Use the Customer Portal for the shipment request, quote approval and payment. Real-time GPS shows the movement; the issued POD and invoice provide the transport record once the handoff is complete.
The repaired or replacement unit's journey back to FSJ is a separate movement with a new ready time. WTM can quote both legs when the plan is known, but an outbound hotshot should not be assumed to include unlimited waiting at the workshop. Keep the transport stages aligned with the repair team's confirmed release decisions.
