WTM Logistics

Alberta · British Columbia · Northwest Territories24/7 Dispatch   587-316-2639

WTM Logistics can collect compact, packed elevator maintenance components and deliver them to an authorised service-company or building receiver. Arrange the parts movement around the technician’s visit, with a clear supplier release and identifiable delivery point.

The service described here is courier transportation of components, not elevator repair or the movement of complete lifting equipment.

Make the collection reference specific

Provide the supplier’s order number, collection contact and current package count. Keep the service job or building reference with the shipment information so similar parts orders remain distinguishable.

Ask the supplier for the actual packed dimensions and weight. A small control component and a heavier mechanical assembly may have very different handling requirements even though both belong to the same maintenance job.

Deliver to the authorised handoff point

Agree whether the parts should go to the service company’s workshop, the building’s receiving area or a named technician at an accessible meeting point.

A machine room or restricted working area is not an assumed courier delivery location. Have the responsible service or building contact identify an appropriate handoff and explain the access needed to reach it.

Include receiving hours and a direct contact number. A building may remain open to occupants while its facilities receiver is unavailable.

Fit the transport to the service appointment

Tell WTM the actual arrival deadline and when the supplier will have the goods ready. The team can assess scheduled or urgent direct movement against those details.

Where the part is for a planned visit, allow the receiver to accept and identify the order before it is needed. Where a deadline is urgent, make that clear at quotation rather than after collection.

Keep the transportation record accessible

Use the WTM Customer Portal to review and approve the quote, make payment and follow live GPS tracking. The POD and invoice become part of the account records after the relevant delivery and billing steps.

Keep the building and service-job reference with the request. Your maintenance provider’s own records document technical work; the courier record documents the movement and handoff of the goods.

What if a component needs larger equipment?

Provide its size, weight and loading requirements. WTM can assess freight transportation rather than treating a substantial assembly as a normal parcel.

Can multiple building orders be collected together?

Give WTM separate package allocations, destinations and receiving windows so the route can be assessed properly.

Get the components to the service team without an extra collection trip. Request an elevator-parts courier quote or call 587-316-2639.
