WTM Logistics · Shipping questions answered
WTM Logistics can arrange courier transport from Edmonton to Banff for a prepared parcel going to a business, an authorised guest receiver or a residential address. Start with the actual Edmonton collection point and Banff receiving deadline. Courier-sized goods do not need to be described as a full freight load simply because the trip is between cities.

Say whether the deadline is urgent or planned
A box of forgotten supplies, a supplier order and a guest parcel may have different deadlines. Tell dispatch when the goods are ready and when the recipient must have them. The appropriate service can then be quoted for the complete route.
WTM’s Edmonton-to-Banff freight guide covers the broader transportation connection. This article focuses on smaller packages and their receiving arrangements. A pallet, temperature-sensitive order or dedicated emergency movement should be identified so the quote uses the right service.
A guest name is not a complete delivery instruction
For a hotel delivery, confirm that reception will accept the package. Provide the guest name the property expects, the stay dates and any booking or department reference the receiver requests. Do not put unnecessary private travel details on an exterior label.
A parcel arriving after checkout may have no useful receiver. Agree what the property can accept and match that with the transport commitment. WTM does not control a hotel’s storage policy or its internal handover to the guest.
A delivery to a Banff business needs its own receiving contact and opening window. The address used on a company’s invoice may differ from the entrance used for goods.
Make Edmonton release easy to identify
For a supplier collection, ask whether the package is at the counter, dispatch bay or another warehouse. Complete any payment or purchase authorisation first. Give WTM the reference the supplier uses to release the order.
For collection from home, identify the authorised person and the prepared package. Provide the size, weight and piece count before dispatch so the shipment fits the assigned vehicle. Declare any special contents, including items requiring refrigeration or separate review.
Book the final handoff, not an assumed shortcut
A quote to a Canmore address is not automatically a quote to Banff. Likewise, a Calgary-origin delivery promise does not become an Edmonton-origin promise by adding a collection request. The route, ready time and receiver must all match the accepted booking.
For example, a guest needing a packed item for a later event should provide the latest useful receiving time, not simply the event’s start. Reception acceptance and the guest’s own collection from reception may need additional coordination.
Can WTM collect from a supplier while I am already in Banff?
Yes. Have the supplier authorise release and provide its collection details. You can arrange the quote and payment without travelling back to Edmonton.
Can I request urgent delivery for one small box?
Yes. State the real deadline and ask for the available direct-service commitment. The size of the box does not determine whether dedicated transport is worthwhile.
