Choose daily courier pickups when orders need to leave regularly; choose a weekly collection when goods can be grouped without missing customer commitments. WTM Logistics can help you turn the actual shipping pattern into a recurring collection arrangement.
The number of pickups is only one part of the decision. The order-ready time and delivery deadline matter just as much.
Daily pickups can suit a business preparing customer orders throughout the week. They may also suit a repair operation whose supplier orders need to move as parts become available.
Before requesting daily service, check when goods are consistently ready. A regular collection window is more useful when picking, packing and paperwork are organised around it.
Distinguish a daily pickup requirement from same-day delivery. Daily collection may feed a scheduled next-day service; it does not automatically describe the transit speed.
A weekly pickup may suit planned replenishment, completed batches or customer deliveries with flexible arrival requirements. The business can prepare a group of identified orders rather than arrange a separate collection for each one.
Do not group an order simply because it is convenient for dispatching paperwork. Check whether the customer can wait and whether the goods will be ready together.
For a multi-destination collection, identify the packages and receiving windows for each stop. Consolidating collection does not eliminate the need to plan delivery.
Start with the arrival commitment, then allow for the confirmed transportation service and your preparation time. That establishes when the order must be ready for collection.
An urgent exception may need a separate direct courier movement rather than changing the entire routine. Tell WTM which shipments are standard and which are exceptions.
This makes the proposal more precise than simply asking for “the cheapest daily courier.”
Ask WTM to quote the origins, destinations, normal quantities and frequency you expect. Consider the service and applicable charges together.
WTM offers 10% off recurring shipments. Include your proposed collection frequency, destinations and typical quantities so the quote reflects the routine you want to establish.
The WTM Customer Portal holds previous shipment records and invoices. Refer to them when discussing whether your current frequency still fits the business.
If most weekly orders are now becoming urgent exceptions, the schedule may need revisiting. If several daily collections consistently leave with very little freight, grouped collections may be worth discussing.
Yes. Explain the recurring work and request the urgent movement separately so its deadline is assessed correctly.
