Create a handoff list before the tools move
List each case, tool and essential accessory. Record asset numbers where you use them, and keep small items with the correct kit. A tool arriving without its charger, stand or specialist attachment may not solve the crew’s problem.
The releasing crew should check the equipment against that list before packing. The receiving crew can then use the same list at arrival. WTM’s delivery record confirms the transport handoff; your own inventory list tracks the contents assigned to the crew.
Pack for transportation rather than a short walk across site
Use appropriate cases and secure loose components. Remove loose blades or accessories according to the equipment’s handling instructions, and tell WTM about batteries, fuel or other contents needing review before booking.
Describe the packed weights and dimensions. A box of hand tools, a cased instrument and a large powered unit require different handling. WTM can arrange courier service or a larger vehicle when the load requires it.
Give each site a real collection point
Provide the entrance, access instruction and named site contact. Where there is no ordinary street address, use the precise location and agreed meeting point rather than a broad project name.
Make sure the releasing crew knows when the equipment must be ready. The receiving contact should have authority to take possession and somewhere appropriate to receive it. Avoid leaving the driver to find a moving crew across a large worksite.
Keep urgent transfers separate from planned rotations
An unexpected equipment shortage may require direct transport. A weekly rotation of a shared tool can be planned ahead. Give WTM the actual deadline so dispatch can confirm a suitable service rather than applying the same urgency to every transfer.

Can the courier collect from one crew and deliver to another?

Is delivery confirmation a complete tool inventory?
