Sending demonstration equipment by courier works best when the delivery is planned around the customer’s appointment and the complete demonstration kit. WTM Logistics can transport prepared demo units, cases and supporting materials so your sales team can focus on the customer rather than collecting equipment.
Request a demo-delivery quote with the packed kit details, destination and time the customer needs it available.
A meeting beginning at 10 a.m. does not mean equipment should arrive at 10 a.m. Allow the customer or your representative time to receive, inspect and prepare the unit.
Explain whether the destination is a staffed office, showroom, workshop or temporary presentation space. Give the receiving person’s name and the entrance they will use. Where an appointment is required, include that instruction before approving the transport.
Prepare a list linking the main unit to its accessories: power supply, cables, sample components, manuals or stands. Mark cases with the demonstration reference and keep paperwork with the correct equipment.
For example, a display unit may travel in one case while its mounting hardware occupies a separate carton. Identify both as part of the same demonstration instead of treating the smaller carton as an unlabelled extra.
Keep a copy of the kit list for the receiving team and the later return. Do not rely on a photo of a closed case to establish which accessories were inside it.
Tell WTM the case dimensions, weight and any special handling requirements. A van-sized sample kit differs from a palletised machine or bulky display. WTM can discuss 5-ton delivery and white glove transportation when the job needs more than an ordinary parcel handoff.
Delivery does not automatically include installation, product training or operation. Arrange those responsibilities separately so your customer knows who will prepare the equipment for use.
Review and approve the quote through the WTM Customer Portal, make the required payment and follow the shipment’s progress. After arrival, retain the POD and invoice alongside your demonstration reference.
Discuss regular demo movements under the 10% recurring-shipment offer when your sales calendar creates a repeating transport need.
Yes, a return collection can be arranged with its own ready time, destination and packed-kit details. Our demo-equipment return guide covers that separate stage.
Share the expected return date early, then confirm when the customer will have the complete kit ready. Do not treat a planned trial end as proof the goods are packed for collection.
