A shared building needs a tenant-level delivery address, not just a street number. Include the business name, suite or floor, receiving contact and whether shared reception is authorised to accept the shipment. WTM Logistics can then plan a handoff to the correct company rather than an unidentified building lobby.
This matters for serviced offices, business centres and commercial properties where several organisations use one public entrance.
Request a WTM courier quote with the exact tenant details and delivery requirement.
Check the name used at the property, including any trading name shown on its directory. A label naming only an individual may be hard for shared reception to match with a tenant.
Add the suite and floor where applicable. Keep the receiver’s telephone number in the booking so dispatch has a useful contact when access needs clarification.
For a company recently moved within the same building, verify the current suite. Reusing an old address can send an otherwise correct shipment to the wrong tenant area.
Some businesses authorise central reception to receive on their behalf; others require delivery to their own team. Ask which arrangement applies to this shipment.
Specify whether the goods can be left with the shared desk, must be handed to a named representative or require a coordinated arrival. The courier should not have to make that authorisation decision at the entrance.
Explain the item’s size too. A desk that handles document envelopes may not have room to accept several large cartons. Agree the receiving space before the order leaves the supplier.
For example, a print supplier delivering to three businesses in one complex should prepare three clearly labelled customer orders. One building stop does not make them one recipient.
Describe the separate companies and their package counts in the request. WTM can quote the handoffs and any associated access requirements rather than treat an order for several tenants as an ordinary single-company delivery.
Put tenant-specific packing lists inside the appropriate packages. Avoid exposing another company’s order details on a shared outer manifest.
The same information helps when the shared building is the pickup point. Identify the company releasing the shipment, where the prepared goods will wait and who will authorise the collection.
A receptionist may know the tenant but not which boxes are ready. Give them a clear shipment reference and release arrangement so the handoff does not depend on finding an absent employee.
Use the WTM Customer Portal for shipment requests, quote approval, payment and available PODs. The delivery record helps your business follow up with the agreed receiving contact.
For repeating office-supply or document movements, discuss a recurring courier arrangement and the separate 10% recurring-shipment offer.
