A business parcel at the wrong company address can often be recovered by arranging a new, authorised collection from the current holder and delivery to the correct receiver. First locate the parcel and obtain cooperation from the business holding it. WTM Logistics can then assess the transport request.

This is a new collection arrangement, not permission for a courier to enter premises or retrieve goods without the holder’s agreement.

Request a parcel-recovery quote once the package and releasing contact are confirmed.

Establish where the parcel actually is

Contact the business at the recorded delivery point and ask it to confirm the parcel’s identifying details. Use the sender, shipment reference and outer-package description to distinguish it from other deliveries.

Confirm the physical location inside the business: reception, goods receiving and a separate warehouse may have different collection arrangements.

Do not send a courier based only on a suspected address. The useful starting point is a known package and a person willing and authorised to release it.

Obtain a clear release arrangement

Agree who will hand over the package, where it will wait and when it can be collected. Provide that contact and the release reference to WTM.

Keep the collection within the holder’s authorised process. A business may need approval from its receiving team before releasing goods that arrived in error.

For example, a parcel sent to a former office address might be held by the current tenant. Once the tenant confirms the package and agrees the collection, WTM can assess delivery to the intended company’s current address.

Verify the corrected destination independently

Check the recipient’s business name, current suite, receiving contact and opening hours. Avoid copying the original label without resolving the detail that caused the confusion.

Supply WTM with the corrected delivery instructions and the package dimensions and weight. Where the current holder can help, arrange clear relabelling or identification through the agreed collection process.

If the package has been opened or damaged, describe its current condition and packaging before booking. Keep any commercial dispute with the sender, recipient and original service provider separate from the new transport instructions.

Record the recovery as its own movement

Use the WTM Customer Portal to request the collection, approve the quote and manage payment. Follow the active shipment through available live GPS tracking and retrieve the new POD after delivery.

Keep the recovery reference connected to the original order in your own records. That creates a clear distinction between the first delivery and the corrective movement.

Can WTM retrieve the parcel when nobody will release it?

A normal courier collection requires an authorised handoff. Resolve access and release with the holder before booking transport.

Who pays for the recovery?

The businesses involved should agree responsibility. WTM quotes the requested collection and delivery; that quote does not decide the underlying dispute.

Turn a confirmed location into a planned recovery. Call 587-316-2639 with the authorised release details.
