Calgary suppliers can use WTM courier service to send cased eyewear, frames and optical shop orders to Olds and Red Deer. Prepare the shipment by store and order reference so each business receives the right packages without sorting another location’s stock. The delivery supports the shop’s customer appointments and inventory needs; it does not include dispensing or fitting eyewear.

Separate store allocations before collection

Pack each store’s cases together and mark the receiving business clearly. An internal order reference is more useful on the transport label than a customer’s medical or prescription information. Keep any customer-specific paperwork securely inside the appropriate package.

When one collection contains several stores’ orders, give WTM the carton count for each stop. Three small packages for Olds and two for Red Deer are not simply “five boxes north.” The stop-level allocation determines the delivery plan and receipt records.

Protect presentation as well as the contents

Rigid eyewear cases should be secured inside suitable outer packaging rather than left loose in a large carton. Identify fragile display pieces, point-of-sale materials or a parcel that must remain upright. The supplier should pack the order for transport before the pickup window.

If frames, cases and display materials create different package sizes, measure the finished packages rather than estimating from the small items inside them. An awkward display carton can be the limiting part of an otherwise compact shipment.

Plan against shop receiving hours

A store may be open to customers while only one employee is available to accept stock. Identify a practical receiving point and contact. For a mall or shared building, add any designated service entrance and access instructions.

Scheduled courier is a useful starting point for regular replenishment. An appointment-sensitive order can be submitted with its required arrival time for a faster service assessment. Distinguish a preferred morning receipt from a hard deadline so the quoted service is appropriate.

Close the order at the right store

Ask each store to check its package count against the delivery reference. A POD identifies the handoff, while your own inventory system identifies the individual frames or finished orders inside the carton. Keeping those records connected makes later enquiries easier to answer.

For repeat work, provide the normal store list and report changes before dispatch. Adding a new location, moving a pickup to another warehouse or increasing the load should be included in the next request, even if the usual schedule is unchanged.

Can WTM collect from a Calgary optical wholesaler?

Yes. Provide the authorised release reference, packed shipment details and each receiving store’s address and hours.

Can the same route include a store return?

Request the return separately with its own package count and release authority. The driver should not be expected to identify or select stock for return.
