Turn several purchases into one receiving list

A workshop can order fasteners, replacement filters and office supplies from different Calgary sellers. The useful starting point is a collection list showing each seller, release number, address and package count. WTM can quote the planned collections together and connect them with the same FSJ receiver.

Consolidation does not mean opening cartons or combining goods inside a new box. Each supplier should prepare and label its own order. Give each purchase a reference that remains visible when the receiver checks the delivered pieces. A shared destination should simplify administration, not hide which supplier sent what.

Set a practical release point

Decide what happens when one supplier is late. You might hold the complete collection, send the ready orders first, or arrange the missing order separately. Make that choice before dispatch so an unfinished purchase does not silently delay everything else.

WTM's scheduled next-day service is available for accepted shipments on eligible coverage routes. The 11 a.m. cutoff and the specific delivery commitment are confirmed with the booking. An urgent order that cannot use the scheduled plan belongs in a dedicated hotshot request instead.

Match the vehicle to the combined order

Add up the actual packed load, including long cartons and items that cannot be stacked. Three compact boxes and one bulky display occupy space differently from four matching cartons. Give dispatch dimensions and gross weights rather than only a total piece count.

When the order becomes palletised freight, use WTM's LTL option instead of assuming a courier price covers a skid. Courier and LTL can sit within the same customer relationship while retaining the right equipment and handling arrangement for each shipment.

Make the northern handoff easy to verify

Name the FSJ business and receiving entrance. A city office, a contractor yard and a separate worksite are different destinations. Share the final delivery address with every supplier so labels support the same plan.

Use your Customer Portal to approve the quote, follow live GPS tracking and retrieve the POD. Compare the delivered pieces with the original collection list, then retain the invoice and shipment history for the next order cycle.

Frequently asked questions

Can WTM collect from more than one Calgary supplier?

Yes. Submit every pickup address and release reference together so the complete collection plan can be quoted.

Is this limited to emergency same-day shipments?

No. This article covers planned parcel movements and coordinated supplier collections. Request dedicated hotshot service when the deadline requires it.

Book, approve and follow the shipment

Request your next shipment in the WTM Customer Portal, review and approve the quote, and pay online. Real-time GPS tracking helps you follow the movement; issued BOLs, PODs, invoices and shipment history keep the transport records together.

WTM offers 10% off recurring shipments. A funded credit account separately offers up to 25% off eligible services. Confirm the applicable offer with your quote; the two offers are not automatically combined.
