WTM Logistics · Calgary–Fort McMurray · Northbound
A missing supply kit can interrupt a crew change even when the rest of the order has arrived. WTM arranges courier delivery of packed PPE and lockout-supply orders from Calgary to Fort McMurray. Identify the complete kit, its receiving supervisor and the delivery deadline so transport supports the employer’s preparation rather than adding another collection trip.

Have the buyer confirm the contents before release
Use the supplier’s order checklist to confirm sizes, quantities and the correct product references. WTM’s role is transportation, not selecting protective equipment or deciding whether a kit satisfies an employer’s safety procedure.
Package items by the allocation the receiver uses: crew, department or store order. Avoid loose components distributed across unmarked cartons. A clearly identified kit is easier for the supervisor to hand over without dismantling the whole shipment at reception.
Plan around the handoff before the shift
Give the time the supervisor needs the supplies, not merely the time the crew begins work. Receiving, checking and distributing the order may happen earlier. Name an alternate contact when the main coordinator will be in a meeting or out of phone coverage.
An illustrative order might include ten numbered kits and one carton of replacement supplies. Record eleven packages if they are physically separate. A purchase order showing “one kit order” does not communicate the loading space or delivery count.
Distinguish the town address from the operating site
Some orders go to an accessible Fort McMurray store or contractor office. Others go to a controlled site receiving point. Put the actual entrance, release authority and any delivery appointment in the request. Do not rely on a camp or project nickname alone.
If unusual goods are included with the kit, describe them before booking. Aerosols, batteries or other specially handled products should not be concealed under a broad “PPE” description. Dispatch needs the actual contents to select the accepted service.
Choose routine replenishment or an urgent exception
Predictable resupply can be planned as recurring courier work. A critical omission may call for dedicated hotshot transportation instead. Ask WTM to compare the delivery commitments against the readiness of the final packed order.
Keep the kit reference in your portal request and retrieve the POD for the supervisor’s receiving record. For repeat work, update changes in crew allocation instead of reusing an outdated packing list. Request a quote with the final package count and the time the receiver needs to start distribution.
A customer account built around your deliveries
The WTM Customer Portal supports new shipment requests, quote review and approval, online payments and real-time GPS tracking. Access issued BOLs, PODs, invoices and shipment history through the same account. New customers can request access from admin@wtmlogistics.com.
Save 10% on recurring shipments under the applicable arrangement. A funded credit account separately offers up to 25% off eligible services. Ask which offer applies to your quote; the two are not automatically combined.
