WTM Logistics · Calgary–Fort McMurray · Northbound
WTM can move planned maintenance materials from Calgary to Fort McMurray in agreed LTL releases rather than sending every pallet before the receiver is ready. Match each release to the work phase, receiving capacity and supplier readiness. The purpose is a usable material flow—not simply moving stock out of the supplier’s warehouse as early as possible.
Shared-capacity freight options · Pallet-by-pallet quoting · Agreed loading and receiving arrangements
Give each phase a clear release list
Identify the pallets required for the first phase and the material that should remain with the supplier. Use a phase or work-order reference consistently on the packages and shipping documents. The receiver should know which planned activity a delivery supports.
If material substitutions occur, have the buyer approve them before updating the load. WTM transports the accepted shipment; it does not decide whether a replacement product is suitable for the maintenance work.
Keep package details current at every release
Record the final pallet footprints, heights and gross weights. Note non-stackable pieces and any specially handled contents. A recurring project reference is not permission to reuse measurements from an earlier, different shipment.
Disclose unusual products and separate temperature requirements where applicable. A dry pallet load, refrigerated goods and products requiring additional review should not be grouped under an undefined “maintenance supplies” description.
Organise receiving by the real worksite plan
Confirm the approved receiving address, gate, contact and unloading equipment for each release. A project office may place orders while a stores team at another location receives them. Make the accepted endpoint explicit.
For an illustrative staged order, the first pallets might be needed for preparation while later material is held until access is available. The buyer should decide the release sequence. WTM quotes the transport that supports it rather than making the project schedule itself.
Separate critical exceptions from the routine freight
When one missing component threatens a dated task, compare a separate hotshot for that component while leaving flexible materials on the planned LTL service. Do not automatically upgrade the entire project order if only a small part is urgent.
Use the Customer Portal to approve each quote and reconcile the BOL, POD and invoice against the phase reference. GPS visibility helps stores staff organise receiving. Request an LTL proposal with the planned release list and actual receiving windows so each shipment has a clear place in the work.
A customer account built around your deliveries
The WTM Customer Portal supports new shipment requests, quote review and approval, online payments and real-time GPS tracking. Access issued BOLs, PODs, invoices and shipment history through the same account. New customers can request access from admin@wtmlogistics.com.
Save 10% on recurring shipments under the applicable arrangement. A funded credit account separately offers up to 25% off eligible services. Ask which offer applies to your quote; the two are not automatically combined.
