WTM Logistics · Calgary–Fort McMurray · Northbound
WTM Logistics can collect prepared orders from Calgary suppliers for courier delivery to Fort McMurray. The useful starting point is a collection list: who holds each package, when it will be released and which receiver needs it. That lets you combine suitable orders without turning one late supplier into a surprise for the entire shipment.

Build the collection list before asking for a combined price
A purchase order does not always identify the warehouse holding the goods. Record the actual collection address for each supplier, the release number, the contact and the packed piece count. Specify whether the supplier closes its shipping counter earlier than its retail store.
Ask for one quote covering every collection and the final delivery. Three stops across Calgary are a different job from collecting three boxes at one building. WTM can plan the sequence around readiness and the service you select rather than assuming every seller is ready simultaneously.
Decide what happens when one order is late
Give dispatch a decision rule before collection. Perhaps two essential kits must leave while a backordered item can follow. Alternatively, an installation may require all components together, making a partial delivery unhelpful. State which situation applies.
For example, a maintenance buyer might order a sensor, mounting hardware and labels from three suppliers. If the sensor is unavailable, transporting only the labels may not solve the job. This is an illustrative purchasing situation, not a claim about an actual customer shipment.
Label by purchase order, not just destination city
Keep each supplier’s paperwork with its packages and add the final receiver’s reference. When an order contains several cartons, label them consistently so the receiving team can reconcile the physical pieces against its own purchase records.
A compact group of cartons may fit courier transportation. Palletised or awkwardly shaped orders should be quoted with their packed dimensions; WTM can move the requirement into LTL or a suitable straight truck. Combining purchases does not remove the need to describe every load.
Choose the delivery commitment your buyer needs
Use scheduled courier for a planned replenishment and ask about direct hotshot service when the completed order cannot wait. Collection time, travel time and the receiver’s deadline are separate inputs. WTM confirms the complete arrangement before the load is accepted.
The Customer Portal helps you connect the approved quote, live GPS visibility and delivery documents with the collected orders. For a repeated supplier run, provide a normal weekly pattern and ask about the separate recurring-shipment offer. Start your quote with the collection list, not only the words “Calgary to Fort McMurray.”
Keep the receiving team and accounts connected
Use the WTM Customer Portal to manage the request, quote approval and online payment. GPS visibility supports receiving coordination, while issued BOLs, PODs and invoices provide records for operations and accounts. Access previous shipments without rebuilding the history through email.
Save 10% on recurring shipments under the applicable arrangement. A funded credit account separately offers up to 25% off eligible services. Ask which offer applies to your quote; the two are not automatically combined.
