When a business closes a location or relocates, supplier returns need a plan before access ends. WTM Logistics can collect prepared, authorised return parcels and deliver them to the correct supplier or business receiving point.

This is a stock-return task—not a substitute for an office move or a request for the courier to sort the remaining inventory.

Request a closure or relocation return quote with the collection deadline and each authorised destination.

Separate returns from stock that is moving with you

Decide which goods are going back to suppliers, which are transferring to another location and which require another disposition. Pack and label each group before booking.

For illustration, a shop relocating might have three authorised supplier-return cartons and several boxes of inventory going to its new store. Those are different destinations and records. The courier should not need to decide which boxes belong in either group.

Get return approval while your team is still available

Confirm each supplier’s return reference, receiving address and package requirements. A sales representative’s approval may still need a warehouse reference attached to the goods, so use the supplier’s actual instructions.

Keep the authorisations with your business records. Transportation does not determine whether the supplier accepts the commercial return or issues a credit.

Work back from the last access day

Give WTM the final time the location can release the goods and the period when an authorised person will be present. Explain loading access, lifts or other restrictions that matter to collection.

Do not book against a time when keys have already been returned or staff have moved elsewhere. A realistic preparation buffer helps avoid turning the final day of access into an unnecessary urgent collection.

Quote every destination and packed piece

Provide the number of cartons, dimensions, weight and receiving windows. Separate parcel-size returns from palletised stock or furniture that needs a different transport service.

WTM’s relocation service information covers the wider moving task. The courier booking here focuses on prepared supplier returns, so its documents and destinations stay distinct from the relocation inventory.

Keep a contact available after collection

Nominate a person who can answer questions even after the old location is closed. Provide the correct business email and telephone contact rather than a number that will stop working on move day.

The WTM Customer Portal supports requests, quote approval, payments and live GPS tracking. Available PODs, invoices and historical shipments remain useful when reconciling returns after the location is no longer operating.

Can some boxes go to a supplier and others to our new office?

Yes. Identify both movements, with separate labels and receiving instructions, so the quote covers the full requested route.

Can WTM collect unsorted stock and decide which supplier receives it?

Prepare and identify the returns before collection. Your team retains responsibility for inventory decisions and return authorisations.

Finish the return movements before the keys change hands. Call 587-316-2639 to arrange your collection.
