Have your supplier confirm the garment style, colour, size breakdown and quantities that are actually available. A purchase order and a ready-to-collect order are not necessarily the same thing.
Where an order is being split, identify which cartons move now and which garments remain outstanding. The printer can then plan production around the released stock rather than expect a complete run prematurely.
WTM needs the supplier’s collection contact, reference and ready time. Garment substitution or acceptance of a short order remains your business’s decision.
Keep customer jobs separated
Ask the supplier to identify cartons by order or production reference. A print shop receiving the same shirt style for several customers needs more than the manufacturer’s carton label to allocate the stock.
Keep packing lists with the appropriate cartons. Record the outer-package count and distinguish mixed cartons from cartons assigned to one size or project.
For example, two customer jobs may use the same black garment in different size ratios. Separate job references let the receiving team put each order into the right production queue.
Use the print schedule to set the delivery requirement
Share when the stock must reach the shop, not only the date of the customer’s event. Production needs time after the garments arrive.
WTM can assess a scheduled collection or a more urgent movement around that required arrival. A courier booking should not assume the supplier has completed picking merely because the order was placed online.
If the order becomes palletised, send the packed dimensions and receiving equipment details. WTM can assess LTL or larger-vehicle service rather than force a freight-sized order into a parcel description.
Track incoming stock and retain the handoff record
Use the WTM Customer Portal to request the shipment, approve the quote and make payment. Follow the active shipment with live GPS tracking and retrieve available proof of delivery and invoice records.
The POD records the transport handoff. Your receiving team still checks garment quantities against the supplier’s packing list before releasing the job to production.
