When a local shipment needs hotshot service

Hotshot combines urgency with dedicated transportation. It can be worth assessing for an essential part, a prepared crate or a time-critical pallet that cannot wait for routine consolidation. The decision comes from the deadline and handling requirements, not one universal weight limit.

If the order is small and a suitable courier service meets the deadline, ask for that option too. If the order is planned stock with flexibility, compare LTL. Buying the right service means matching the operational need instead of calling every delivery an emergency.

Give dispatch a usable supplier release

Confirm the goods are packed and authorised for collection. Provide the supplier contact, order number, collection entrance and earliest ready time. A paid invoice does not necessarily mean the warehouse has released the order.
