Calgary ↔ Fort St. John · Courier
WTM Logistics transports completed backorder packages from Calgary suppliers to Fort St. John businesses. When most of an order has already arrived, the remaining repair kit or accessory should travel with a reference that connects it to the original purchase. A focused courier booking helps close the gap without repeating the entire ordering process.

Identify what is still outstanding
Ask the supplier for the remaining line items and the number of packages being released now. Reference the original purchase order but identify the delivery as its outstanding balance. This avoids a receiver expecting the full original shipment again.
For illustration, an order may have arrived without a mounting kit. The follow-up consignment should describe that kit, not the machinery it supports. The packed size and weight of the missing items determine the courier requirement.
Establish the real release date
A promised restock date is different from a packed order ready for collection. Have the supplier confirm the release after stock has arrived and the items have been allocated to your business. WTM can then arrange the movement against a dependable ready time.
Where several delayed items are arriving on different days, decide whether to wait for a complete kit or send the available essentials first. Tell dispatch that decision rather than allowing a general collection instruction to cover an uncertain selection of parts.
Deliver to the person closing the job
The receiver may be the workshop completing the repair rather than the warehouse that accepted the original order. Give the exact FSJ address and the job reference. Include the technician or receiving coordinator who knows why the follow-up package matters.
If the work cannot proceed without the backorder, state that deadline. WTM can discuss dedicated hotshot transportation when necessary. A routine replenishment courier remains appropriate for items that are needed for future stock rather than an active shutdown.
Keep the purchasing record complete
Request and approve the transport quote in the Customer Portal. Follow the shipment with real-time GPS and retain the POD with the original order reference. The purchasing team can then reconcile the arrival of the outstanding packages against its supplier record.
Delivery confirmation does not resolve a supplier billing discrepancy on its own. Keep the seller's packing list, revised invoice and return authorisations where relevant. WTM's shipment history provides the transportation record while your business closes the underlying purchase.
Frequently asked questions
Can the backorder go to a different FSJ address from the original shipment?
Yes. State the new receiving address and contact when requesting the courier quote.
Can you collect before the supplier has packed the remaining parts?
Arrange release confirmation first. The collection should be based on the actual ready packages, not an estimated stock-arrival date.
