WTM Logistics · Hotshot · Southbound

WTM can deliver released food-processing line components from Calgary suppliers to Lethbridge maintenance receivers by hotshot. This service moves the parts needed for a repair or planned intervention, such as packaged drive components, sensors or prepared assemblies. It is an industrial-parts shipment, not refrigerated transport of the plant’s food products.

Dedicated direct transport · 24/7 dispatch · GPS tracking

Give the maintenance team a defined receiving deadline

Ask the plant contact when the component needs to reach goods receiving for the planned work. The maintenance shift may need time to check the order and move it internally before installation. Use that handoff deadline rather than only the intended restart time.

Explain whether the shipment supports an active breakdown or a scheduled maintenance window. Both can justify direct transport, but they may allow different collection plans. WTM quotes the movement based on the actual load and useful arrival.

Confirm part identity and release at the supplier

Have the plant and supplier resolve part numbers, revisions and substitution decisions. Give WTM the purchase or release reference and the collection branch. The courier should not determine whether a sensor or drive component is suitable for the production equipment.

Collect only when the package is ready. If a final item is still being assembled or transferred from another warehouse, update the release time before dispatch planning is completed. An accurate ready time helps align the supplier handoff with the receiving deadline.

Package industrial parts for transport

State the carton, skid or crate count with gross weights and outside dimensions. Protect vulnerable connectors, finished surfaces and projecting shafts. Explain any no-stack or orientation requirement before vehicle selection.

If the receiving plant has cleanliness or access procedures for incoming equipment, provide them with the booking. Do not describe the driver as entering a controlled production area when the accepted handoff is at goods receiving. Internal plant movement and installation remain with the authorised plant team.

Separate the critical part from routine stock

For illustration, a plant might need one sealed control component urgently while spare belts and routine stock can arrive later. Quoting the critical piece as a hotshot can make the transport decision more precise than accelerating every item from the supplier.

WTM’s hotshot service offers dedicated direct movement. GPS visibility supports coordination, and the POD records delivery. Neither the transport record nor an arrival estimate guarantees that the production line will restart at a particular time.

Processing-parts questions

Does this require a refrigerated vehicle?

Not simply because the receiver processes food. State any conditions required for the actual parts; food-product shipments are a different service request.

Can a heavy packaged assembly be moved?

Provide its packed size, weight and loading arrangements so suitable equipment can be confirmed.

Follow the urgent movement from quote to delivery
