A useful courier proposal for a franchise network starts with the work each location needs done—not just the number of stores on a map. WTM Logistics helps businesses plan collections, branch transfers and customer deliveries across its service network, with quotes and shipment records accessible through the WTM Customer Portal.

Whether you operate several service outlets or supply a growing group of retail locations, a clear brief makes it easier to compare delivery arrangements. Request a franchise courier proposal based on your branches, shipping patterns and required service levels.

Describe the movement between locations

Identify the origin and destination of each regular movement. A central warehouse supplying six branches is different from six branches collecting independently from local suppliers. Include returns to the warehouse, urgent replacement orders and deliveries made directly to customers.

Group the work by frequency and urgency. Separate predictable replenishment from occasional rush jobs so the proposed arrangement does not price every delivery as an emergency. Your brief should show typical weeks as well as periods when volume increases.

Give each branch a receiving profile

Record the delivery address, branch identifier, receiving contact and permitted delivery window. Add the actual entrance, parking instructions and any appointment requirement. The manager’s office address may not be the door where cartons should arrive.

Describe the goods too. Piece counts, packed dimensions and weights help WTM identify suitable vehicles. A branch receiving uniforms and documents has different handling needs from one receiving palletised fixtures. Link both requirements to the same network proposal without assuming they need the same service.

Decide what a successful delivery looks like

Specify what matters to your team: an agreed arrival window, a named receiving handoff, visibility during transit and documents available after completion. Decide who will raise requests and who will review prices within your business.

The WTM Customer Portal supports shipment requests, quote review and approval, online payment, real-time GPS tracking and access to available BOLs, PODs and invoices. Describe the workflow your staff need; avoid assuming that your internal purchasing approval happens automatically inside a courier account.

Test the proposal on representative shipments

Start with an ordinary branch delivery, a longer intercity movement and an urgent exception. Those examples reveal whether the proposed service fits the whole network rather than only its easiest address.

For illustration, a routine carton delivery to one outlet might use scheduled service, while a replacement component for another outlet needs direct transport. Ask for those jobs to be identified separately. That gives your purchasing team a meaningful comparison instead of a single average price hiding different commitments.

Build repeat shipping into the discussion

WTM offers 10% off recurring shipments. A funded credit account can provide up to 25% off eligible services under the separate credit-account offer. Include your expected shipping pattern in the proposal request so the applicable arrangement can be explained with the pricing.

Do all franchise locations need identical schedules?

No. Submit the actual needs of each location. The proposal can distinguish routine deliveries, different receiving windows and urgent requests without pretending every outlet operates alike.

What should we send first?

A branch list, a sample week of deliveries and representative package details are a practical starting point. Include the contact coordinating the proposal.

Build a courier arrangement around your franchise—not the other way around. Call 587-316-2639 or send WTM your branch-delivery brief.
