Start with a confirmed consumables order
Have the supplier verify product codes, pack sizes and quantities. Give WTM the order reference and the name of the contact releasing it.
Keep any urgent product separate from a larger replenishment order when the deadlines differ. A single required pack may need direct delivery while the rest can follow the routine collection arrangement. Clear instructions help avoid treating every item in the purchase order as equally urgent.
Request a consumables pickup with the supplier’s ready time and your receiving deadline.
Pay attention to packed weight and protection
Wire spools and dense boxes should be packed for their actual weight. Retain appropriate supplier packaging and protect products according to their storage and handling instructions.
Do not describe the consignment only as “a few welding supplies.” Provide the number of cartons or spools, total weight and dimensions. When the order requires pallet handling, tell WTM about the available forklift, dock or tailgate requirement so the correct vehicle can be arranged.

Choose the handoff that keeps the shop organised
Give the receiving entrance and a named stores or fabrication contact. Mention any access restriction that changes how the driver reaches the unloading area.
For example, a shop may require deliveries at its stores door rather than through an active fabrication bay. Explaining that at booking avoids unnecessary searching and brings the order to the people responsible for checking it in.

Share the supplier locations and the days your orders are usually ready. WTM can discuss an agreed recurring arrangement with 10% off recurring shipments.
Use the Customer Portal for shipment requests, quote approval and payments. Follow shipment progress and retrieve proof of delivery and invoices from the same account. A clear record supports checking which supplier orders have reached the shop.
Can WTM collect an order that includes cylinders or chemicals?
Describe all contents before booking and discuss the appropriate transport separately. Do not include them in a request described only as ordinary boxed consumables.
Can an urgent pack be collected before the rest of an order is ready?
Yes, ask the supplier to release it as an identified package and give WTM the separate reference and deadline.
