WTM Logistics can arrange collection of a merchant-authorised online order return from a customer’s address and deliver it to the nominated business receiver. The merchant coordinates the return decision; WTM handles the agreed transportation.
This gives the customer a defined collection process while keeping the returned goods connected to the original order.
Confirm with your customer which items are being returned, where they should go and how they should be prepared. Provide an order or return reference so the receiving business can identify them.
The returns address may be a workshop or warehouse rather than the original dispatch location. Give WTM that actual destination and the contact accepting incoming returns.
The merchant’s refund or exchange decision remains separate from the courier booking. Collection does not, by itself, mean a refund has been issued.
Agree a collection arrangement the customer can meet. Confirm the address, unit, access instructions and telephone number, and ask the customer to have the packaged goods ready at the agreed point.
Do not assume the item is packed because it arrived in packaging originally. The return needs its current package count, dimensions and weight established for transport.
If the customer no longer has suitable packaging, resolve the preparation requirement before collection rather than sending a driver for an unpacked item under a parcel booking.
A return may differ from the original new product shipment. Tell WTM about damage, leakage, exposed parts or other conditions that affect transport acceptance and handling.
Larger goods need an appropriate collection and unloading plan. A customer-return request should describe the physical item, not only the value of the online order.
Use the WTM Customer Portal to request and approve the quote, make payment and follow real-time GPS. The available POD confirms the return reaching the nominated business receiver.
Use that shipment reference alongside the merchant’s return record. The receiving business can then inspect and process the goods under its own return procedure.
Yes. Nominate the actual authorised receiver and include its intake reference and receiving hours.
No. This is a one-way return collection. A combined exchange needs both movements described and quoted explicitly.
