A job-site courier delivery needs a usable access and receiving brief, even when the site has no ordinary street address. WTM Logistics can assess the movement from the actual location, approach instructions, shipment and agreed handoff point.

Start with the route to the receiver—not just the name of the nearest town.

Describe the delivery point precisely

Provide the best available location reference, a map pin or coordinates where appropriate, the approach road and the name or identifier displayed at the site entrance. Explain which gate or meeting point the receiver expects the driver to use.

A site boundary is not always the delivery point. State whether goods are received at a gate, office, laydown area or other agreed location.

Give a direct number for someone who can explain the approach and be present for the handoff.

Identify access requirements before booking

Tell WTM about any visitor arrangement, vehicle restriction, appointment or mandatory check-in that affects the delivery. The receiving business should explain how the courier is to enter and where the handoff can take place.

A booking should not depend on the driver discovering an inaccessible entrance after arrival. Share known constraints while the route and equipment are being assessed.

Make the vehicle fit the actual shipment

Describe the packed size, weight, quantity and unloading arrangement. A small boxed component and a heavy skid need different equipment and receiving plans.

Where the site cannot unload a pallet, include that fact in the request. WTM can assess 5-ton truck or other suitable transport rather than assuming a standard parcel handoff.

Agree the timing with the person on site

Tell WTM when the goods are ready at the origin and when the site can receive them. A project deadline is not useful if the person accepting delivery has already left.

For urgent components, call 587-316-2639 with the details. WTM confirms the workable pickup and delivery arrangement for the actual movement.

Keep a record of the handoff

The Customer Portal supports the request, quote approval, payment and real-time GPS tracking. After delivery, access the POD and invoice through your account.

Include the project or work-order reference in your shipment information. That helps distinguish similar parts deliveries to different sites.

Is a map pin enough on its own?

Pair it with access instructions and a reachable receiver. A pin identifies a location; it does not explain which entrance is usable or who can accept the shipment.

Can WTM deliver to a site near an approved corridor?

Send the location, access directions, site contact and receiving window. WTM can then plan the collection and handoff around where your team actually needs the goods.

Make the site reachable before the goods leave. Request a job-site courier quote with your location and access brief.
