WTM Logistics

Alberta · British Columbia · Northwest Territories24/7 Dispatch   587-316-2639

WTM Logistics can collect an authorised parts return from your Alberta business and deliver it to the supplier’s designated returns location. Book the return as a new shipment, with its own collection details, packed goods and receiving instructions.

This is different from a failed delivery being sent back. Your business is deliberately returning a prepared order to a supplier that has agreed to receive it.

Obtain the return authorisation first

Contact the supplier and confirm what it will accept, where it must go and what reference should accompany it. The returns address may not be the trade counter where you originally collected the goods.

Include the return authorisation with the shipment details and mark the packed order as the supplier requests. Tell WTM the receiving contact and hours for that return location.

The courier moves the goods; the supplier decides whether the return qualifies for a refund, replacement or credit. Clear authorisation avoids confusing those separate jobs.

Describe what is actually coming back

An original order may have included five components while the return contains only two. Give WTM the current package count, packed weight and dimensions rather than copying the outbound description.

Pack the parts for transport and identify loose accessories or separate cartons. Tell WTM about used, drained or otherwise specially handled items so the service can be assessed from the actual condition and contents.

If the shipment has become palletised or heavy, request the appropriate freight equipment instead of a standard parcel collection.

Choose the return deadline deliberately

A supplier’s approval may include a receiving deadline. State that date when requesting transport and leave room for the supplier’s opening hours.

For a replacement-dependent repair, explain whether the original part has to arrive before the supplier releases another one. WTM can then assess the transportation requirement with that sequence in mind.

Keep the return movement traceable

Use the WTM Customer Portal to request and approve the quote, complete payment and follow real-time GPS tracking. After delivery, retrieve the POD and invoice.

Keep the supplier’s return reference alongside your shipment details. The delivery record establishes the transport handoff; your supplier’s account records establish any commercial credit afterwards.

Can WTM collect from our workshop rather than our office?

Yes. Give the actual collection location and the person who has the packed return ready.

Can return collections be part of an ongoing arrangement?

Discuss the pattern with WTM, including the 10% recurring-shipment offer. Each return still needs its own authorisation and correct destination.

Close the loop on your parts order. Request a supplier-return courier quote or call 587-316-2639.
